Well It happened I was tagged by someone. *MrMarcus:iconmrmarcus: Mr. Marcus tagged me with the one about tell about 8 random things about yourself so here we go:

1. I'm an only child. My folks split from on another when I was about 4. My father got me and my mom got everything else...my dad still wonders if he got the better deal or not :D.

2. I've moved all over when I was growing up. Pekin, IL, to Galesburg, IL, Then to Tuscon, AZ, then off to Ocala, FL, then to a house on a mountain in CA (1/2 up the mountain my dad said the hell with this) and it was off to FL again (with tips to AZ off and on to my mom), then back to Galesburg, IL where I said ENOUGH! and have stayed since....he's gone to various parts and back for good (or for now).

3. I won the Illinois little lotto once for $72 grand. After taxes it was $48 then gave 12 grand to charity (Playground fund for underprivileged kids in the Mississippi delta (go find them and help kids get a playground!!) , local womens abuse center(rescue mission), Catholic and other Christian charities, Untied way and Meals on Wheels (they helped my grandmother so I returned the favor...I just mention these as they are great charities that have and did help me and others I know so I urge you to find them in your community and help. Then the about 20 grand went to help parents with operations and the last of it went to pay bills, try and start a comic book (that didn't make it) and get me a new frig and washer and drier...the washer has been kicking for 7 years (made in USA while the drier has cost me $300 in repairs and was not, hummm). God Blessed me with it and I tried to help others back with it...I guess I'm a living example that people do win the lotto!

4. My fiancee is Philippino but came her when she was 4. We meet many, many moons ago thru a mutual friend. She was the first girl I kissed :) And who would have though all these years later we'd be getting married! May 17th!

5. My house has many theme rooms. I wanted to be a movie set maker but due to my parents illnesses I could never leave. So I tried to make it up for it in my house. My office is a space ship. Bedroom is a beach/wrecked ship. 2nd bed room a cave. Upstairs bath a ruined Greek bath. The Living room a New York roof top. and the game room a mid-evil keep with a water fall :). Keep in mind they are done on a budget and not totally pro. I'll post photos if anyone is interested. My wife to be is an artist too and loves them. Another reason I love her.

6. I'm a huge RPG gaming geek. I've been playing games (D&D and the like) since I was a kid. Love them! All my best friends play or did play. We usually game every Friday and Saturday night (but it's not always now a day). It's not just dice and numbers as most of us have done stage work and/or the like and it's more like Monty Python meets action movies or Lord of the Rings. We all go to the hilt with accents and indepth characters, do we dress up and run off into the night like that old Tom Hanks movie, ah NO!!! but it is fun. Mostly Warhammer, Whitewolf games, DC heros, Deadlands, and so on.

7. I collect original art from comics artists and the like mostly form meeting them at conventions. That's why DA is so bad there are so many artist I would love to have art from but I have no $ of late...I need to play the lotto again :D

8. I drink Pepsi and a weird Kool aid creation. When I had about 4 roomates and lots of house guests I would make Kool Aid for me (love it since a kid) but it would be gone in a matter of minutes. So I started making it with about 5 cups or more of sugar...very, very sweet. So sweet no one would drink it. But did I get diabetes or such a sugar high I never slept for weeks? Nope, the secret was to fill a glass full of water then put a little bit of the super sweet Kool-aid, mix it up and wal-la normal Kool-Aid. No one really touch my Kool-aid again, didn't figure it out or too lazy to mix up the glass of water :) Anyway I still do it today even though no bad roomies anymore...old habits die hard I guess. At least I don't lock up my Pepsi with a padlock anymore either:)

Well there is some of the madness that is me. Hope it's insightful but not enough to send you running into the hills screaming...that might come on the next tag :evillaugh:
